BMW i4

BMW has announced the launch of its all-electric i4 sedan in the Indian market on May 26, 2022.

The car is likely to be offered in two variants – eDrive40 and M50 xDrive. The eDrive40 variant comes with a single-motor setup producing 335 BHP and 430 Nm, while the dual-motors in the M50 xDrive variant pack 537 BHP and 795 Nm. Both variants use an 83.9 kWh battery pack that offers a maximum range of 590 km and 510 km, respectively (WLTP cycle).

Honda City Hybrid

Honda will announce the price of the City Hybrid on May 4, 2022. The Honda City e:HEV will be available in the top-spec ZX trim. Pre-bookings are already open and deliveries will commence in mid-May.

Powering the City Hybrid is a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors, offering a combined output of 124 BHP and 253 Nm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and comes with three drive modes – EV, Hybrid and Petrol.
