Aditi Rao Hydari has moved up from the Mercedes-Benz GLE to the new Audi Q7 that was recently delivered to the actor.
The Audi Q7 has always been popular with celebrities, especially in the Indian film industry and the latest actor to bring one home is Aditi Rao Hydari. The Padmaavat actor recently took delivery of her new ride in the fantastic blue shade. The Audi Q7 is available in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology with prices starting at ₹ 80 lakh for the former, going up to ₹ 88 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the latter. The SUV packs a host of features, a comfortable rear seat and a powerful petrol engine that’s been popular with owners.
The Audi Q7 gets familiar styling reminiscent of other SUVs from the German carmaker while standout elements include Matrix LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, sporty alloy wheels and wraparound LED taillights. Compared to its predecessor, the Q7 gets a softer design and may not come across as butch but the comfort quotient has moved up by a significant margin.
Inside, the new Q7 gets two new large touchscreens with haptic and acoustic feedback. The system also comes with LTE Advanced connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, natural voice control and the extensive Audi connect portfolio. Other upgrades on the facelift include a new steering wheel, premium upholstery, and more.
Performance on the Audi Q7 comes from the 3.0-litre TFSI, V6 petrol engine with 335 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque, while paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox and the Quattro AWD system as standard. The motor comes with the 48-volt mild-hybrid system with a lithium-ion battery and a belt alternator starter (BAS). Hydari chose the Q7 in a segment that also has offerings including the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, Volvo XC90 and the Land Rover Discovery. It’s interesting to note that the GLS has been the another celebrity-favourite luxury SUV in recent times.
On the work front, Aditi Rao Hydari was last seen in Hey Sinamika. The actor has a number of projects currently in production including a web series with Amazon Prime.
