The two-wheeler segment will witness two big launches in the month of August. While Royal Enfield is ready to introduce its all-new Hunter 350cc motorcycle on 7th August, Honda 2Wheelers will bring in a new BigWing model on 8th August, 2022. Here’s a brief on the soon-to-be-launched new bikes.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 leak 2

The Chennai-based two-wheeler maker has already started dispatching the Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc bike across its dealerships. The model will share its platform, features and engines with the RE Meteor 350. Interestingly, it will be the smallest and most affordable Royal Enfield offering in the country. Powering the model will be the 349cc, single-cylinder engine delivering 20bhp.

The Hunter measures 2055mm in length, 800mm in width and 1055mm in height. Design elements such as shorter and smaller swing arm, a single piece seat and differently styled fuel tank will differentiate it from the RE Meteor 350. Since it will be placed below the Meteor, the RE Hunter might miss out on the tripper navigation system. It’s estimated to cost between Rs 1.5 lakh – Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom). More details here…

New Honda BigWing Bike

Honda CRF300L

Honda Motorcycles has released a teaser of its upcoming new model stating “Get ready to experience new Design, Advancements and Performance from Honda’s BigWing”. The name and details of the model hasn’t been revealed by the company. If reports are to be believed, it could be a new premium 350-500cc motorcycle based on the Honda H’Ness CB 350 platform.

Rumour also has it that Honda might bring in the Forza 350 maxi scooter. If launched, the Honda Forza 350 will come with the 330cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine making 28.8bhp and 31.5Nm. It’s equipped with electronically adjustable windscreen, traction control, dual channel ABS, etc. Globally, the model lineup is available in two variants – Standard and Roadsync. More details here…
